About the Owner

Mark Paule, founder and owner of A2B Permits, has called Erie County, Ohio, home his entire life. His career in transportation and commercial vehicle compliance spans more than three decades, beginning with 28 years as an Erie County Sheriff's deputy. During the final 10 years of his law enforcement career, Mark specialized in commercial vehicle enforcement, where he worked closely with carriers and businesses navigating the complex regulations surrounding oversize and overweight loads.

Through those experiences, Mark recognized a common challenge: many companies wanted to operate safely and legally but struggled to identify and obtain the permits required—particularly from local jurisdictions. Seeing an opportunity to bridge that gap, he retired from law enforcement and dedicated his career to helping businesses navigate the permitting process with confidence.

In 2015, Mark became an owner and Senior Director of Integrity Permits, LLC. Over the next decade, the company earned the trust of more than 100 transportation companies, businesses, and local government jurisdictions by providing knowledgeable, dependable permitting services and guidance.

When Integrity Permits, LLC closed its doors in 2026, Mark remained committed to the customers and communities he had served for years. That commitment led to the founding of A2B Permits. Today, Mark and his team continue to provide personalized, responsive permitting services designed to help carriers move oversize and overweight loads safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and permit requirements.

Mark believes that exceptional service is built on experience, integrity, and personal relationships. Every client receives the attention and expertise needed to keep their operations moving while meeting the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.

Mark and his wife, Kay, live in the Castalia area of northern Ohio. They are the proud parents of five adult children and grandparents to seven grandchildren. Outside of work, they enjoy fishing on Lake Erie, traveling to mountain destinations, and living out their deep faith in God.
